Especially when it comes to hazardous waste, disposal is above all about trust – we have the know-how, the necessary care and the expertise.
At our three sites in Herzlake, Bremen and Hohenhameln, Augustin Entsorgung handles the disposal, processing and sorting of hazardous waste. This includes, for example, water contaminated with oil or other substances, workshop waste, acids and other toxic liquids, sludge or solids.
These hazardous wastes must be transported, stored and treated separately and with great care and know-how. Our specially trained staff and specialist vehicles ensure safe transport to our sites. Here, after careful incoming inspection, the waste is processed using technical methods or prepared for transfer to other disposal facilities through sorting and packaging.
As the requirements for processing and sorting hazardous waste continue to increase, we place great value on the training and further education of our employees, a modern vehicle fleet, and ongoing investment in new plant technology. The planned laboratory expansion at the Bremen site will make it possible to analyse material flows more precisely, enabling even better treatment.
Care, expertise and efficiency set us apart in this area.
Our services:
Processing of oil-contaminated waste
In many industrial and commercial sectors, for example, water becomes contaminated with oils – this water cannot simply be returned to the normal cycle. One example is wastewater from car washes or workshops. It contains oil and sand that are washed off vehicles.
To separate the water from solids and oils again, it must undergo chemical-physical treatment – for example, in our treatment plants at the Bremen site.
At the end, the cleaned water is sent to standard wastewater treatment and can be reused. The oil and oil-contaminated sand are destroyed in a hazardous waste incineration plant.
Collection and interim storage of hazardous waste (hazardous waste mobile collection unit)
For cities and municipalities, we offer the service of our hazardous waste mobile collection unit. With this special vehicle, we travel to designated locations and collect hazardous waste from private households. Our trained staff assess the materials and pre-sort them in the vehicle. Household hazardous waste includes, for example, varnishes, paints, used oils, batteries or fluorescent tubes. Properly separated, this waste is stored temporarily at our site and then sent for hazardous waste incineration.
Collection via the hazardous waste mobile collection unit is covered by waste fees and usually does not incur any additional costs for private individuals.
Production of pre-mixed waste
In a newly built processing hall, sludge, filter cake and other solid waste such as paints and varnishes, printing ink waste, used honing and grinding agents, as well as absorbent and filter materials such as oil-soaked cleaning cloths or protective clothing, are processed with the aid of absorbent material such as sawdust so that they can be safely disposed of in suitable, approved incineration plants, generating usable energy in the process.
Workshop waste disposal
We dispose of all waste generated by car dealerships and workshops. We offer our customers sophisticated logistics with collection containers and individual collection intervals. On request, we develop waste disposal solutions tailored to your business and separate all hazardous and non-hazardous waste generated:
We take care of the disposal and sorting of
- Operating fluids such as oil, antifreeze, brake fluid, etc.
- Electronic parts and e-waste
- Batteries, tyres, windscreens
- oil-contaminated parts and textiles
